Although born to the Harkin family, Hyrule's royal bloodline, Tranns Harkin grew up as a country girl, raised by a knight who instilled in her the simple values of good and bad.  At the age of seventeen, however, she suffered from a psychotic episode that took her far away from the life she knew to a less savory part of the world where she was exposed to drugs, sex, and corruption.  Through the challenges she faced during her fight to return home, Tranns learned many valuable life skills that she was able to apply when she was called to join a band of elite time warriors along with her half-brother, Aden.  She assisted the Guardians in their efforts to restore the timeline and wound up stranded in the past.  She was one of the founding members of the Phoenix Fighters.  In Shaldani, she fell in love with fellow Phoenix Fighter Lucien.  Tranns is passionate and charismatic, endowed with deft skills with the written word.  Although often swayed by her emotions, due in part to an inherited bipolarism, Tranns is very dedicated to the cause of right and will face any odds to defeat evil.
