Saria (person):  The Hylian sage of the forest.

 

Saria (place):  A backwater Hylian village famed for prostitution and gambling.

 

Savra:  A powerful Gerudo pride; considered to be the most beautiful Gerudos in the realm.

 

Screaming Cliffs:  A series of cliffs on Risa where Risan go to scream out their frustrations.

 

Seska:  The goddess of death.

 

Shaka:  A Risan percussion instrument.

 

Sheikah:  Hylians born with red eyes; these tend to be stronger than average Hylians are are sworn to protect the royal family.

 

Shira Hade:  A novelist known for writing scandalous romance stories.

 

Shiz:  A private boarding school of magic hidden deep in the heart of Hyrule; courses include potions, herbology, magical biology, charms, history of magic, and others.

 

Shokari Veia:  Risan dark magik.

 

Shway:  A slang term for "cool" or "neat."

 

Sire:  A parent Vampire or Ra.

 

Sky Kingdom:  The mythological dwelling of the Skylar gods.

 

Skylarism:  Worship of the Galaxian deities Sun, Moon, Rainbow, Wind, Twilight, Comet, and Luna.

 

Slag:  A mild oath; context "Slag it!  I missed the watch!"

 

Smeg:  A curse; Risan for "fornicate."

 

Smooth Brow:  A slang term for a Risan who has assimilated to mainland practices; a Risan without a symbol after the age of fifteen.

 

Southern Shore City:  A more or less modern, mainland city on the southern end of Risa; a popular tourist attraction.

 

Sphota:  A Risan spirit responsible for chasing ghosts away; Risan for "seeing the unseen."

 

Spirit Guide:  A Risan meditation technique, where the Risan speaks with a spiritual teacher through deep concentration, bordering on REM sleep.

 

Spot:  A slang term for a Risan with a symbol; generally used only in reference to Risans living on the mainland.

 

Stars:  A slang term for Polarians.

 

Star Hunters:  Black marketeers who seek Polarians to cut out their hearts and either sell them or use them to obtain extended life.

 

Starz Trio:  A popular Risan singing group of three sisters; all members have recently vanished.

 

Starlight:  The goddess of victory.

 

Starlight and Still Waters:  A famous music hall in Catalan.

 

Sun:  The goddess of day.

 

Sutherland:  A mainland fifedom ruled by Earl Oriel.

 

Sweet:  A vengeance demon known as the "bringer of songs."

 

Sycorax:  A vengance demon known to avenge slaves.
