Joey was born to a rich, traditional family on Third Earth.  She discovered at a young age that she was different from other children.  Her family was informed that Joey was psychic.  When she touched someone, she could see their past.  When she heard someone sing, she saw glimpses of their future.  And when she witnessed someone crying, she was able to know exactly what they were feeling.  In her teen years, Joey decided to start using her gift to help others.  She did so until she was twenty-one, and noticed by the Powers That Be (PTB), who decided to use her as a liaison.  Without a chance to say goodbye to friends or family, Joey was whisked away to another dimension.  The PTB made her immortal, but merely as long as they wished her to be.  Since then, Joey has been a loyal servant to the PTB, doing whatever they request.  The concept of time means nothing to her, because she skips from dimension to dimension, and time flows differently in all of them.  She has been sent to the Phoenix Fighters as a "present", her only mission being to help them however she can.  Despite her weird life, Joey is pleasant and cheerful, albeit a little strange.
