Casey Dikawa was born the only child of Trey Dikawa, brother to Queen Darla.  As she was most unplanned, Casey spent most of her life in isolation, being raised primarily by bodyguards and hired nannies.  For a few years, she attended a public school, her identity kept a secret.  Unable to connect to other students, Casey was transferred into the hands of a well known alchemist named Ruth Massie.  With great aptitude for science, Casey served as a loyal apprentice for many years, once more isolated from Human contact.  When the Ebene attacks began, Casey was the first to discover the magical properties of the Phoenix House.  She joined the Phoenix Fighters, trying to keep her royal blood a secret.  While that failed, much like most of Casey's experiments which have a tendency to explode, she has proven herself to be a valuable member of the team, heading up the scientific staff in the kitchen.  Casey is deeply devoted to her work and sometimes comes off as clumsy or spastic in social situations.
