Dark Elves are divided into two Tribes: The Voradorr Tribe and Ultima
Tribe. The Voradorr Tribe consists of Dark Elves seeking great power within banned black magic. The Ultima tribe is
a more peaceful tribe, consisting of Dark Elves who live their lives like any other species in the realm. The reason for two
tribes is because the Dark Elves had a war with the Hylians long ago, in search of the Triforce. After being defeated by the
Hylians, the Dark Elves hid, outside the boundaries of Hyrule. The Ultima Tribe realized that their fighting had cost them
many loved ones lives, while the Voradorr Tribe planned on getting revenge.
Stats:
Species Type: Humanoid Primary Language:
Common Lifespan: 250 - 680 Dominant Sense: Sight Land of Origin: Hyrule Average Height:
Five feet six inches (female); five feet eight inches (male) Primary Religion: Unknown Social Standing: Outcasts Eating

Unique Abilities:
Like most humanoids
with long ears, Dark Elves have a great sense of hearing, but that isn't their best trait. There best trait would be their
sight. Often they live in caves or underground dwellings and with their special ability; they can see 75% more clearly in
dark places than Humans can. Compared to other races, Dark Elves are better able to jump from high places.
Along with
having the best sight at night, Dark Elves tend to be very familiar with Black Magic. The Voradorr Tribe seeks its full power
and understanding for malevolent uses, while the Ultima Tribe uses what they know and what they learn only if necessary.
All
Dark Elves possess telekinesis. In addition, they can perform spells such as Fire Pillar (summon a pillar of fire within
4 feet of the spellcaster which reaches up to 10 feet in the air) and Wind Strike (a basic spell which sends a gust of wind
toward an enemy with hard enough force to blow enemies back and cause internal injury). Dark Elves also posses a unique
form of teleportation. They can teleport to in short distance continuously, but each teleport has a 5 second interval
before it is used again.
History:
Dark Elves - The Dark Elves were forest dwellers themselves at one point, but meeting with the Hylians and hearing
their tale of the ancient relic, the Triforce, sparked their curiosity which then turned into greed. They waged war for 25
years until the Dark Elves could fight no more. With the war against the Hylians for the Triforce over, the Dark Elves ran.
The Dark Elves argued amongst themselves on what their next plan of action should be. Some wanted nothing more than to live
a peaceful life after having accepted defeat in battle. They feared that more blood would be shed and that the Dark Elf race
would cease to exist if the fighting continued. Others wanted revenge, no matter what the cost, but decided that they'd have
to tap into banned Black Magic to do so. With the entire race having two separate ideals, they separated into clans, and scattered
off to the farthest corners of Hyrule.
The Voradorr Tribe - Not being able to accept defeat so easily, the Voradorr
Tribe immediately started settling in a remote location beyond the Haunted Wasteland of Hyrule. With the use of the magic
they already knew, 851 Voradorr's separated the sand until they found solid ground. They immediately began building their
city, a few of them keeping the sand from messing with their work. After the city was built, they constructed 5 small towers
around the city and a statue of a hand in the city center called "The Hand of Gran Kain" that emitted a dark flowing energy,
forming a barrier over the city which the sand soon covered. This city was called Stifanos.
With their city built,
they quickly had horrible elections to see who was fit for ruling over the entire tribe. No one died in this process, but
many were injured. The one who became the leader of this tribe was named Balphor, and it was now his right to tap into the
banned black magic. The other Dark Elves of the Voradorr tribe would learn what he did, but only some of it. Balphor taught
certain spells to certain Dark Elves, while he held the power to all of them. He had still much to learn, however. The banned
black magic was difficult to interpret, and often he studied how to interpret it, rather than practice what he knew already.
He was searching for a certain spell…whether he ever found it or not remains a mystery.
The Ultima Tribe - The
Ultima Tribe traveled along the path to Death Mountain. Along their way, they met a peaceful race of rock eaters, the Gorons.
The Gorons welcomed the Ultima, and told them about the paths beyond Death Mountain. It was said that 4 miles beyond Death
Mountain, there was once a cave where the most delicious rocks where at, however it was now empty. This cave however had an
abundant amount of space, and the Gorons suggested they live there. The Ultima took their advice, but before leaving they
asked for a small favor.
They had asked the Gorons to tell the next messenger of the royal family, the Harkins, about
the Ultima and the Voradorr tribes, and that they were the same race, but with different ideals. That all Ultima's wanted
now, was peace. The Goron's kept their promise, an Ultima whom was voted to be leader, Arados, was allowed to come to Hyrule
Castle for the first time ever where he and the King sat down, and spoke. 2 days later, after sharing secret about one another's
race, and even what the Voradorr tribe swore to do they had signed a declaration of permanent alliance. Now the Ultima Tribe
could go on and live peacefully in that cave the Goron's informed them about, where they soon built their city called Shilaston.
Appearance:
The Dark Elves have blue gray skin. Their ears, much like the Hylians and Andorians,
are pointed, but are about a quarter of an inch longer than Hylians' ears. They have a slender build, and barely any muscle
mass, but with enough training they learn to handle even the heaviest of objects, such as war hammers and halberds. Their
hair color is mostly either pure white, or black with colored streaks in their hair, usually red, blue, or magenta. Their
eye color is mostly either royal blue, or forest green. Any Dark Elf born with red eyes is considered rare, and are often
sent to mystic schools within their cities to became high priests/priestess or shamans.
Reproduction:
Dark Elves reproduce as all other humanoid species, with
a gestation period of nine months. Females bear the young and nurse them until the age of 13. At 13 their fathers begin
to train them in arts such as fighting, magic, painting, and even teaching them family traditions and beliefs. Multiple
births are common among the Dark Elves. It isn't rare for a mother to have 2 children at one time, usually a male and a female.
Fertility in females begins at the age of 14 and lasts until their 130's. Dark Elf Males are sterile until the age of
ten, but then become active for the rest of their lives, much like Risan males.
For all these reasons, it's not common
that Dark Elves reproduce much. Having many years ahead of them, they'll usually do the act of reproduction once every 20
years. Nothing is known of Dark Elves reproducing with another species such as a Human, Risan, or Hylian. Many question the
possibility. However, if there were offspring of a dark elf and any other species, they would more than likely either come
out as a Dark Elf, or the other, never a mixture of both, but their traits would probably pass to one another.
