Andorians are divided into two categories: Regular and Evolved.
Closely related to the Draconians and the Windians, Andorians are one of the least prevalent species in the realm. There
is a great stigma attached to the Andorian people, making them the subject of great fascination.

Unique Abilities:
All Andorians: Andorians possess many unique abilities, helping their survival in a world that is
most unfriendly to demonoids. Perhaps most note worthy of Andorian abilities are the unique skills Andorians have with
language, music, and mathematics. Andorians can learn a language, almost instantly after hearing a sentence or two.
Likewise, they can learn an instrument or song fairly quickly. Many warlords employ Andorian translators or musicians.
Interestingly, Andorians in their demon form speak Common with a very pronounced lisp.
Although Andorians cannot teleport,
they can attain instantaneous transportation via a network of portals. It takes many years to properly train an Andorian,
but once training is complete, she or he can rip open the very fabric of time and space to move from one location to another.
Andorians can even open portals in mid-air, flying through them with their distinctive black wings.
Like many other
creatures in the realm, Andorians are capable of creating energy blasts for offensive attacks. In addition, due to their
language skills, Andorians can perform a sort of sonic scream, temporarily knocking their enemies unconscious without causing
any permanent hearing damage. Andorians have heightened senses. They can identify individuals by smell or touch
and they can also hear danger from many miles away. Their extendable talons can be used in combat situations.
Evolved Andorians: This
subsect of the Andorian race possesses a few unique talents that their less evolved brethren lack. Evolved Andorians
are capable of morphing their physical appearances so that they can appear as humanoids. In addition, Evolved Andorians
are stronger. They have better endurance and much longer lifespans.
History:
The Andorian people are rumored to have originated from a mysterious island called Andora that sank beneath the depths
of the water thousands of years ago. Ever since then, Andorians have wandered across the realm in nomadic packs of two
or three families.
Due to centuries of being hunted like animals for the harvesting of their hair, Andorians have gained
a strong weariness against humanoids, bordering on xenophobia. Most Andorians won't even sleep in the same plane as
humanoids, electing to great pocket nebulas in between realms. Evolved Andorians sometimes dwell among humanoids, but
they assume a humanoid form, keeping their true appearance a great secret.
Although Dragian, most Andorians are not
overly religious, preferring folklore to parable. In every generation, there is one Andorian who is known as the Keeper
of Memories, an individual endowed with the collective memories of the ancient ancestors from Andora. This title is
passed on from parent to child. There is an Andorian legend regarding a savior known as the Prince of Fire who will
someday rise and restore the Andorian way of life.
Andorians are closely related to Draconians and Windians in terms
of genetics, but they have an entirely separate culture. Some believe that the first Andorians were Draconian criminals
who were cursed with green skin, but there is no evidence to support this legend. Andorians are rather antagonistic
toward Draconians and Windians, particularly Draconians.
In the last twenty years, a group of severely anti-Andorian
Hylians have traveled the realm, catching Andorians, shaving them, and sterilizing the males to prevent future generations
of Andorians. Although for awhile it was a distinct possibility that there would be no more litters, in recent times,
an influx of Andorians from a neighboring realm has increased fertility in the realm's Andorian population.
On occasion,
Andorians are hired by warlords to serve as translators, musicians, or footsoldiers. Although Andorians have a clear
sense of right and wrong, they are programmed to sacrifice their morals for survival. Some Andorians even go so far
as to become vengance demons, endowed with the power of The Wish. Though they trade their souls, they gain immortality.
Appearance:
Due to the fact that they are demonoids, Andorians have a unique physical appearance that
sets them apart from many other races in the realm. Most noteworthy is the fact that Andorians are born with green skin.
Unlike humanoid species, there is no variation in skin tone. All Andorians have the same color skin.
When demon
hunters began to target Andorians, it was initially because of their skin, but soon the reason shifted drastically.
All Andorians have pastel colored hair. The color of their hair is arbitrary, having nothing to do with heredity, however
all females have blue streaks and all males have pink streaks. As their hair serves as the source of all their unique
abilities and powers, Andorians do not cut their hair. Demon hunters quickly learned that shaving an Andorian provided
them with a valuable commodity. Andorian hair is of high value on the magic black market. While an Andorian's
hair will grow back, until it does the Andorian is completely helpless.
The true reason Andorians are classified as
demonoids is the fact that in addition to two arms and two legs, Andorians have two black wings, retractable, which sprout
from their backs. Due to these wings, Andorians have weak, sensitive backs. To compensate for this fact, Andorians
are also endowed with black retractable talons that come out of all ten fingers. The talons can extend up to twelve
inches and retract to nearly eight milimeters. They are razor sharp and can cut through virtually anything except for
certain types of magically endowed metals.
Andorians move with a sensual grace. They generally do not stand fully
upright. Their wings, in fact, cause them to hunch over. All Andorians are skinny, delicate looking creatures.
Generally, in demon form, Andorians have pointed ears, though not as long as Hylian ears. Though they can be strong,
they cannot be terribly muscular. Finally, all Andorians have gray eyes.
Reproduction:
Although Andorians are noted for and even encouraged to
experiment sexually, they mate for life. Males will, on occasion, do battle over a desired mate, but the debated female
has the right to call off any duel. Generally, a couple requires the consent of their pack leader before they are allowed
to mate. Andorians have no wedding ceremony so they do not call each other "husband" or "wife," but instead use the
neutral term of "life partner."
Andorians can be sexually active as humanoids, but once they desire to mate, they perform
a ritual called Oomox, where they join hands and pass energy back and forth between one another. This causes a sense
of extreme bliss in both. Andorians who perform Oomox on humanoids will transfer some of their powers and abilities
to their partner. Every time, the transfer will be stronger.
Post adolescent Andorian females begin a yearly
cycle called the elogium at the age of twenty. During this cycle, the female's hands attain an orange, spongy texture.
The female experiences great physical discomfort until she performs Oomox on her partner. If the male is fertile, he
will develop a sack in between his shoulder blades. There, the Andorian litter will develop for a period of three months.
During that time, the male will lose all the feathers of his wings. The odds of conception are approximately one in
twenty.
Following the gestation period, approximately twenty to twenty five Andorians will hatch from the sack on the
male's back. These hatchlings will be completely defenseless for a one year period, during which the female nurses.
The male will recover his wing feathers.
